MTHJA52 Dual Pins Shear Relief Safety Valve for High Pressure Mud pump

This shear relief valve is a new generation product developed on the basis of our normal safety valve design. It introduces a dual shear pin mechanism that significantly extends the pressure handling capability and improves overall operational reliability. The valve body is manufactured from forged 35CrMo, ensuring high strength and durability under severe drilling conditions.

    Product Features

    The shear relief valve is primarily installed in high pressure mud pump discharge end, where overpressure protection is critical. It acts as a safeguard by releasing pressure when unexpected surges occur, preventing damage to pumps, liners, and downstream components. The dual shear pin design is especially suitable for deep drilling and high pressure applications that demand precise and reliable safety control.
    • In single pin configuration, the valve withstands up to 31 MPa, while in dual pins configuration, the maximum working pressure reaches 59.6 MPa.
    • The flexibility of switching between single and dual shear pins allows onsite operators to select the appropriate protection level based on the rated pressure of the cylinder bore, while the shear pin insertion position is engineered for straightforward adjustment.
    • Connection options are designed to adapt to different field requirements. Both flanged ends and hammer union type connections are available for the bottom and bypass outlets, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of drilling system.
    • By applying our own research and engineering expertise, the dual shear pin design offers a balance of safety assurance and operational adaptability that traditional single pin models cannot achieve.
